“Premier Inn Hull City Centre”
Reviewed 3 April 2012

I stayed at this Hotel on 23 March 2012.

We booked this hotel using the Premier Inn website, which was very easy to use and as we booked in advance by a couple of months the non-refundable room rate was only £36 (no breakfast)

Before setting off I asked if we could be allowed into the 3 rooms we had booked at 12 p.m. (rather than usual 2 p.m. check in). I explained that we had to travel a long way to travel and we would be leaving at 6 in the morning to get there. I was told this could not be guaranteed but they would see what they could do.

On arrival you just drive straight into the car park and take the lift to reception on the seventh floor.

When we arrived just before 12 they had a record showing that I had asked for an early check in (which was a good start) and we were quickly checked in. I asked for an iron an ironing board and this was outside my room within a couple of minutes.

The room was great and very clean, with a bath and shower, and very comfy bed and pillows. The temperature control panel was also useful to get that temperature just right. I did not hear any nose in the hotel and whilst it is near to a main road it is far away enough not to hear any traffic at all.

This hotel was fantastic value for the money we had paid. The hotel is very centrally located and the city centre is only a few minutes walk away.

We did not eat breakfast and there is a cafe just a few minutes walk down the road (you will pass it when you turn into the road the hotel is in) which offered better value food. The restaurant and bar did look quite nice and was located in the hotel rather than being a pub next door, which is usually the case.

Anyway, I would highly recommend this hotel, and it is on par with the Holiday Inn Express (by the train station). Although I think I preferred the location of the Holiday Inn Express because it is located right next to a shopping Mall, although the HI Express is in a much busier area.

We stayed here for one night with family as we were attending a family party nearby, staff were extremely helpfull and friendly and knowledgable of local area, giving directions to our party venue. Fantastic views, fantastic food, peaceful nights sleep as promised!
In fact we have booked the same hotel for a weekend in April to check out the local attractions, The Deep (right on the doorstep) gallery/theatre, looking forward to the warm welcome.

Very good Premier with (for a change) an excellent in house restaurant. Kind, courteous efficient staff and all the usual attention to detail you expect from a good inexpensive hotel. The location is slightly out of centre of town but the views at night are really stunning. Slightly disconcerting to arrive at a rather gloomy door leading to a lift with instructions to proceed to level 7 for reception! Once past the 6 levels of parking the reception and restaurant were lovely. Very secure access via key card in lift to gain access to accommodation floors. A very upmarket Premier!

Easy to find hotel, close to city centre and the docks, awesome views from 7th Floor bar and reception, great views from rooms 8th floor and above. No noise, free car parking on lower floors, rooms clean and fresh with usual P.I. facilities.
The staff were great, very welcoming though didn't mention the promise. They sorted out taxis, maps and tablets,
Excellent breakfast, the best one we have had in the many P.I's visited.
Went for football and a reunion, really enjoyed our stay, comfortable bed as usual.
Did I mention the breakfast, it was excellent, proper back bacon, good sausages, fresh fruit, juices, great range of coffees.
Paid £59.00 for the room with breakfast at £7.99 each.

This hotel provides the standard, clean premier inn room. The hotel is very well located with free parking. What sets pre mier inn apart is the value and also the excellent service provided by their staff. I have found Premier Inn to be a lot more consistent in it's offering than many other, higher star chain hotels. We will return.

Stayed here a few times no so thought I had better write a quick reviews. Stayed in Dec 2011 and Jan 2012

Typical Premier Inn, does what it says on the tin. Staff friendly and helpful, food as per most Premier Inns, wont win any major prizes but is decent. In a slightly out of the way location just off Clive Sullivan Way but still close enough to the city centre to walk if you like. Good view of the flood defence barrier and The Deep.

Simple and basic value for money.
