Cannot fault the bed, very good sleep.
What I can fault is as follows...
1- food, food was terrible looked nothing like the pictures on the menu. The chips where undercooked, chicken burger tasted cheap and to be honest tasteless. Prawn starter did not agree with my stomach at all and came with the smallest pot of sauce I had seen. Apple pie dessert was freezing cold and custard didn't want to leave the jug. Nicest thing was the pint of Pepsi!
2 Lifts- only one working lift which resulted in waiting ages for it because of the amount of levels in the hotel.
3- room there was only one hand towel and one bath towel. Tea service very inadequate for the night 1 coffee sachet and 1 tea bag and a couple of sugars and milks.
4- breakfast, only fault was the hot items has been left to stand for too long. A manager type lady appeared and could hear her ask the kitchen why the buffet was so poor. This was quickly removed and a plate ordering system out into place.
Summary, not a budget hotel so would have expected a bit more attention to detail. Food is not good would really advise dining out. Seems the opinion of a couple of other people i had spoken to in the lift.

Friendly clean hotel. Would have liked dinner to be served at least 30 minutes earlier. One lift out of service but it didn't cause too much disruption. easy access to the city centre for shopping. Walking distance to the city centre for the theatre.

Stayed here for one night with a friend whilst visiting my niece at the university. The room was spotless, and with the air conditioning, comfy beds and blackout curtains we slept extremely well. The location was superb for walking into the shops and restaurants was a breeze. Breakfast was excellent, and the view from the restaurant was great.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the price was brilliant. Free parking too!
As two women travellers we were not at all intimidated and I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel, and will definitely stay here again myself.

We stayed here on 1 November as it was my birthday weekend and we wanted to spend family time with the kids. This is our second stay and yet again we cannot fault anything! We had the meal deal and the food was perfect! The breakfast was gorgeous - especially the sausages! Staff are all friendly and you are served with 'service with a smile'. One of the lifts had broken down but we were allowed to use the service lift so we didnt have a problem. We will be returning again!

Was quite reasonable, food was OK. Missed making my bed and cleaning room, one day, so had to complain. Breakfast was good, with eat as much as you like policy. Though sausages had hint of onion, which is not a breakfast item as far as my tastes go.
