Premier Inn Hull City Centre Hotel
Certificate of Excellence
Reviewed 1 March 2014 via mobile

The usual excellent standard one expects from Premier Inn these days! Central in Hull with a nice bridge into the old town for the facilities! Parking is convenient and the views out over the town were a good addition. Traffic noise was hardly noticeable despite the busy road. Good breakfast too!

Stayed: March 2014, travelled on business

All I seem to do is stay in & review Premier Inn's!! This hotel was great value for money, and a really central location to the town centre & was easy to get to. One of the Scousers included in the review below - I'd stay here again! Hotel was spotless & staff were all really friendly & helpful.

This is a nice Premier Inn located close to a surprisingly quaint old town. You tend to know what you get with Premier Inn and this one does not disappoint.
Hull is generally underrated but there are little treasures to be found here and there.

Clean modern hotel with a great view of the Humber estuary. Easy to get to and close to Hull City Centre. Great buffet breakfast with plenty of choice and food. Recommend booking table for evening meal in advance as restaurant gets very busy. Family room for 3 had a separate proper comfy bed for child not pull out type. Nice furnishings and linen to make a comfortable stay.

We found the staff very inattentive, couldnt care less attitude, receptionist was too busy on phone and radio to check us in. Afraid to say food was just awful, triplecooked chips extra 70p ? triple soggy McCain ovenchips to be precise (waitress told us !!) Steak was overseared on outside and raw on inside, the knife wouldnt cut it! View from Bar and room was excellent though, overlooking the Deep and the river. Staff didnt seem to have a leader, all just running around doing different jobs all the time. Sorry Premier Inns - not like you at all !!!!!

Room Tip: The higher the floor the better the view !
