We were yet more groupon customers and had booked an early table at around 6/6.30pm on a Saturday evening. Our table had not been reserved and the place was swamped with a "Where's Wally?" fancy dress night out, so we were shoved at the back on a wobbly table with high bar stools. The bellinis had never seen any champagne and were worth nothing like the alleged price of £6, and the pizzas were literally thrown on the table. The waiter walked off before we could order some proper drinks. The pizzas were average and because we were being so resolutely ignored, we just left the restaurant when we'd finished eating - none said "did you have a nice meal?" or even "bye". We can't have been in there more than 45 minutes. Also even if you picked the most expensive menu options they did not add up to the alleged "full price" on the Groupon offer. Never again!

I visited Koo bar last night with my friend using a groupon voucher, as we first walked in, the place looked shabby and worn out, we were soon approached by the waiter, who kindly took our groupon voucher and showed us to our own private booth, soon later the waiter brought some menu's over and asked see if we would like our sangria that came with the groupon voucher, giving us two choices, we chose the white wine sangria which was really nice, we then ordered our food with the waiter and not long after it was served at our table, again the food was beautiful, all in all, don't let the decor put you off too much, we'll definitely be returning to Koo bar.

We went with a Groupon voucher for Tapas and Bellini cocktails. I had bought this as a birthday present for a friend. It was a Thursday and the place was empty mainly because the bar man was playing with friends outside. I told him I had read the reviews and thought that they might have got their act together but they hadn't.The meal was appalling, everything was luke warm and I don't think they knew what bruschetta bread was.
The only good thing was the bar man who apologised and was polite when we gave him our comments. He did offer more food but we accepted a couple of pints instead.
There is a bar not far away that could definately give them lessons on Tapas preparation.

We visited with a groupon voucher ( we don't buy very many groupon vouchers but liked the sound of the tapas and cocktails ) It was a Thursday night and we appeared to be the only customers apart from the bar man and another man ( friend / employee). The bar / restaurant was stark, cold and in need of decoration - paint coming of walls, poor quality furniture etc. The staff had no record of our booking ( but later found it in the wrong day) . Attention / service was poor. The belinis were poor - made with flat fizzy wine. There was no lager on draft - waiting for a delivery / white wine - 2 choices - perhaps waiting for a delivery. Atmosphere poor - we were the only customers and football on a large screen, no relaxing music!!!

Food was reasonable - not outstanding, but no real issue with it, except served on stone cold plates - As a result hot foot went cold very quickly. Can't understand why they don't heat the plates prior to service!!

Our conclusion - restaurant obviously financially struggling and failing to address the true reason. We will not be back
