Not my favourite topic to learn about but this museum still manages to engage!

My daughter loves the trail that is currently on! We have completed it several times now!!!
The architecture of this building is often overlooked! It's such a beautiful building!

Some of the information is a little advanced for children so would definitely say this place is for a variety of ages! plus it's free!! Would recommend a visit!

What a brilliant museum charting the maritime history of Hull. What was supposed to be a quick visit lasted four hours due to the magnificent displays and historical information. Particularly enjoyed the Court Room with its beautiful carvings and ornate pillars. The museum covers all aspects of marine life not just the docks. Visit its well worth the time and its FREE

Free admission which is amazing in these times .A good insight into Hull, s maritime history both in whaling or fishing or local merchant shipping companies.
Well thought out displays and to find out about the Russian atrocity of shooting some of the Hull fishing fleet up which few people know about is worth the visit in it self.I definitely advise visitors to drop in also outside of the building visit the bow of a ship which is a memorial to the Merchant seafarers and fishermen who lost their lives in 2 world wars
