Really good for Children, as there are hands on things for them to explore. Takes you back in time to Romans etc., How people lived, very interesting.

“Another great museum in Hull”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 March 2012

Sharing the museum quarter in Hull with Wilberforce House and The StreetLife Museum, this museum is also well worth a visit and again, is a firm favourite with my 11 year old son and has been for many years!
The museum takes you on a journey through time from Neanderthal man through to the iron age and the Romans and to grab the kids' attention from the start, visitors are greeted with a huge, life size model of a woolly mammoth as they enter!
Lots of clear information available and plenty to keep you interested. Well worth a visit!
