“Fantadtic!”
Reviewed 16 July 2014 via mobile

We ate out 6 times in 3 days...this was the only place that we went back to for a second visit.

Very friendly service, outside seating on the waterfront. We had a steak salad and a steak sandwich. Both meals comprised a thick chunk of fillet steak that would have set you back £25 anywhere else but here, a mere £7.95!!!! We were so impressed that we went back the next day for breakfast, again top quality ingredients and friendly service. We watched a Salmon salad arrive at the next table...same story-huge piece of Salmon fillet!

This isn't the place for a romantic evening meal but it is a cracking breakfast or lunch venue. That said, it might be just fine sitting outside at night too.

Well worth a visit.

“nice lunch”
Reviewed 23 June 2014

Visited numerous times during the course of the power boat racing and very impressed. Nice lunches (especially the pulled pork), amazing ice creams and good beers/wines. All at reasonable prices in nice surroundings and good service, even though they were clearly stretched.

“Always impressive!!”
Reviewed 17 June 2014 via mobile

Came in with my family. It's never a disappointment, always service with a smile. My husband had the homemade steak pie with veg and chunky chips. He was really pleased as the steak pie is always done from scratch and the pastry was melt in the mouth. Chips fresh from the fryer crispy yet soft in the middle. I had the Cajun chicken burger, it was flavour full and packed a punch. My children had the sausage and mash and ice cream to finish. The staff were pleasant as always. Very happy. Would recommend to anyone :)

“Good, could be even better?”
Reviewed 16 June 2014 via mobile

Nice place, 1st visit, wandered in and had to get some attention initially but was dealt with swiftly after that and the waitress was really excellent (small with dark hair). I Had meat pie which I am not convinced was home made? The chips seemed frozen which with so many great ideas these days is unnecessary. It was still nice but expected better for £8.99. My wife had the pulled pork wrap which was excellent. Drinks nice, superb location overlooking the marina. Will definitely go again, maybe in an evening, I would imagine it is stunning on a hot sunny day as well.
