We stayed at the Ibis in Hull on Saturday 8th March for one night. First impressions were very good,. We arrived and were checked in within 5 minutes. Our room was on the 1st floor and was a replica of the Ibis in Nottingham. Very clean, tea/coffee making facilities, and fab power shower. The bed was very comfortable. Our only complaint was that our room overlooked the car park and this is obviously where the staff 'smoke' and unfortunately the smell of smoke drifted into our room on the Sunday morning.
The hotel is situated within walking distance of the train station (where we parked the car at a cost of £4 per 24/ hours - very reasonable), and also on the door step of all shops and restaurants.
We will definitely stay here again. Don't expect 5* because you aren't paying 5* prices but for a cheap hotel it is brilliant. We didn't have breakfast but when leaving the hotel we could smell the cooking and our mouths began to water!
