Lovely family run hotel with welcoming friendly and helpful staff. Centrally located for all amenities.

Would recommend it at a price that is reasonable with plentiful food helpings of quality and variety.

Bright airy bedrooms, same applies to dining room.

Louise and Emma excel with there service in an excellent manner both before arrival and at reception.

Room Tip: Rooms 16 and 17 are semi self contained ideal for FOUR travelling together

I'd stayed in the Holiday Inn Express the night before and finding it to be clean and comfortable but lacking character. This was also booked last minute at a discount rate.

My single room was clean and comfortable but a bit warm. Nothing that opening the window didn't fix though.

I didn't eat dinner at the hotel due to service hours being the same as hospital visiting time. But I did sit in the bar area with a glass of wine after my return from hospital visit and found this to be a relaxing place.

Breakfast was table served and had a good choice of options.

I extended my stay for a further night and moved to a double room with a bath. Again this was comfortable, and again it was a bit warm, and again opening the window solved the problem.

In summary, a nice place to rest my head during difficult circumstances. Would stay there again. If it was dog friendly then I'd have spent the next week there as well.

I have been using this hotel for business in Hull when I can't aquire a room elsewhere. For my first few stays, there have been a couple teething problems. I has to ask reception for a heater late at night because the room was too cold. In one of the rooms, watch your head for the sloping ceiling. The showers are dire... prehistoric mix taps style, which means the water is either freezing or scalding hot, depending on how much patience you have, you may get the mix right. Dingy place, a step up from a B&B that houses tenats who are waiting for social housing.
My last stay was the final straw... I had left my digital bluetooth watch accidently in the hotel room, checked out, realised I had left it in the room and went back to get it. A member of staff informed me that only room service had been in the room since I checked out. After searching the room, my watch wasn't found. When I asked to speak to management, hotel staff became very unhelpful claiming that he was off site and that they had no ways of reaching him. I was forced to call the police and file a report. Left my number for manager to call me back, but they never did.
I don't like thieves so I will never EVER be staying at this place again...

Stayed here for a couple of nights over a weekend. Very clean room and super breakfast. Very friendly Yorkshire service. Useful location in the centre of Kingston was good. Parking is free on Sundays.

I stayed here for 2 nights for work as it is very conveniently located. I always feel comfortable here and everyone is very welcoming. There is a lovely relaxed atmosphere and it is not clinical like the modern chain hotels. In the amazingly warm weather I was able to open my window and have a fan on, which was provided in the room without request. The large room was beautiful, clean and very well equipped with a new looking ensuite (bath & very good shower). The breakfast is yummy and really hot too - cooked to order, rather than those awful buffets. I ate there in the bar one evening and the food was delicious. A really good place to stay and I would be happy to bring my family for personal use too. Good value for money.

Room Tip: Lift to third floor was temporarily unavailable but it was easily accessible , even carrying my suit...

The Kingston Theatre Hotel is a great place to stay. The hotel is spotless, rooms comfortable and staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were beautifully cooked and there was a wide range of choices. The Hotel is situated in a quiet area but is in easy walking distance of the city centre.
