Stayed two nights with friends recently. Warm welcome from Steve and a few beers in the associated pub next door. Room was clean, comfy, had everything we needed and for the price was very pleased with the facilities (went for en-suite option).
Declined breakfast as across the road was a handy Wetherspoons, but all else was faultless. Even being able to get in at some ungodly hour!
Thanks Steve!

Room Tip: probably one to the rear of the building is best, and higher up to avoid the high street and pub noi...

We stayed Saturday for one night. Check in was friendly and quick. Room was clean and stocked with tea and coffee in the room. All in all it was good. Bar friendly and good selection of drinks. Would stay again thanks Steve & the team.

We had a room facing the main road at the top of the hotel (12). The room was clean and had a double and a single. Beds were comfy but as the bar below does not shut until 1am its very noisy. The windows are not double glazed so all traffic and drunken fight noise is loud and the room was freezing at night and boiling in the morning. Each floor of the hotel has a different smell ranging from moth balls to greesy food. Was only £39 for an Ensuite room so I guess you get what you pay for.
