“Brilliant engineering”
Reviewed 23 May 2014 via mobile

I've always wanted to see and cross the Humber bridge - it is a brilliant piece of engineering and a wow factor for the first time. It was only £1.50 for the toll - so value for money. Next time I want to walk across it if which I understand is 2 miles

Riverside park with plenty of space to enjoy a picnic and a walk. Good parking facilities, clean toilets, cafes and a pub/restaurant.

“It's a bridge”
Reviewed 20 May 2014 via mobile

It gets your from A to B quicker. Nothing much more you can say really. It's very helpfully and saves time and fuel and the toll has gone down.

“Dumber Bridge !”
Reviewed 19 May 2014

Though no longer a World beater this bridge be still the 'best' Blighty has to offer.

The visitor centre on the north bank be disgusting - the permanent facilities being incomplete - still !
The public toilets be decent enough - no complaints.
The catering facilities be provided from trailers. This was fine on the dry, sunny, warm day we visited, but, on more 'normal' days ?
The information facility be housed inside portakabins. This can quickly become cramped. The range of publications on offer concerning the bridge was pathetic - several less than advertised on the bridge website.
The country park was pleasant enough, but, nothing special.
The only exceptional item of interest was an 'Impudent' carving made from the base of the trunk of an old tree.

Oneself has not visited any of the other great bridges overseas, but, listening to those who have - the facilities on offer here and the opportunities to explore this great structure are underwhelming by all accounts.
Guessing this means there be still a gap to bridge !
