“Lovely comfortable apartment and well located”
Reviewed 16 April 2017 for a stay in April 2017

Well equipped and presented apartment with nice personal touches. Handy for all Hull attractions. Gavin left us a welcome pack to get us started, which was much appreciated, including a lovely Easter egg!

“A very cozy apartment in a good location”
Reviewed 4 April 2017 for a stay in March 2017

A very cozy apartment and it is like a home away from home for us. A lot to see in the town of Hull itself and it served as a good base to explore other lovely towns nearby like Scarborough and Beverley. Our host is super though we did not have the chance to meet him in person. He is very heplful and friendly, and easy to communicate. :)

“Great views, super location, everywhere walkable in Hull City of Culture”
Reviewed 24 January 2017 for a stay in January 2017

Gavin's apartment was very good value, excellent location. Gavin was a great host, super communication about access to apartment etc. He provided some milk, loaf and other food items to set us off for our weekend in Hull. Apartments overlooks River Hull, The Deep and Humber estuary. Great location for old town, good pubs, recommend Lion & Key & Black Boy both within 100m. Trinity Church was being refurbished but it would be worth going up the tower for views. Lots to do in Hull, free museums & art galleries, which we took advantage of. Apartment has everything you would need, plenty of hot water and heating was lovely and warm.

“Our stay at trinity wharf”
Reviewed 12 January 2017 for a stay in January 2017

We had a trip to Hull to visit our son and family we have been numerous times in the past but this was the best place that we've stayed so far it has two bedrooms which you need when you have a teenager with you. The rooms were excellent and clean which is important to us we really did have a pleasant stay and would take this opportunity to thank gavin and Alex

“Superb accommodation & location”
Reviewed 12 September 2016 for a stay in September 2016

The previous reviewer has said most of it. Excellent facilities, fridge thoughtfully stocked by Gavin with milk, butter, bread and pasta provided to get you going if you haven't done a shop. Superb location for city centre, the Deep, museum Quarter and the many excellent pubs in the area. Highly recommended.

On a minor note, some electrical maintenence needed such as living room light, cooker hood extractor and en-suite extractor fan not working (maybe a fuse blown?). Also the balcony door would not fully close, so not fully soundproofed against the noise of the dual carriageway.

Spotted a Hen Harrier in the wasteland outside the window. Made my day!

“Superb in every way - wish I could give it more than 5 stars”
Reviewed 4 March 2016 for a stay in February 2016

We were treated throughout like very valued friends who had come to stay

The apartment was full of thoughtful touches, much more than we could ever have reasonably expected, and Gavin the owner could not have been more helpful or accessible. The beds and furnishings were extremely comfortable and despite us being light sleepers we had no problem with noise - the apartment is well insulated. It was also very warm and cosy despite it being February and snowing outside. There is a helpful folder of information about the area in the apartment, which Gavin was happy to supplement with specific advice once we told him what we wanted.
All this made for a truly relaxing and enjoyable short break.

The apartment is superbly situated, right on the edge of the lovely Old Town area. It's a few minutes walk to The Deep on one side and to the Museums quarter on the other. Lots of ancient pubs and good restaurants on the doorstep. It's on the third floor and there are views over the Rivers Humber and Hull out the windows. Not particularly beautiful, but interesting and lively - we particularly enjoyed watching all the traffic on the flyover come to a halt as the bridge was swung round to allow boats to pass in and out of the Hull from the Humber.

We would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment to anyone, and plan to stay again if we return to Hull
