Visited the Lake District after many years and randomly picked this place from the list of B&Bs and it certainly was good value for money. We were made welcome. The room was comfortable. There was a small fridge to keep drinks and water.. a welcome on warm days. Due to the masonry work going on outside walls, the windows could not be opened making the room extremely stuffy. But the wee table fan was very good and made it tolerable to get a good night's sleep.
The road outside is quiet busy and finding parking can be tricky but we were given a token to put on the window for free parking. Fortunately we were lucky enough to find parking just across on both nights.
The breakfast was good and substantial. Loved the cats :)More
