Table of twelve - booked weeks in advance but it took the hosts almost two hours to produce the range of starters and one guest had to wait almost two and a half hours for his main course. Our complaints were met with ignorance and a promised "food in four minutes" took almost half an hour. It would have been quicker to order a takeaway with a request to "put it on a late".
Before paying the £300+ bill we asked for a reduction based on the appalling service and we given a refund equivalent of about £1.50 each person!
When the food did final arrive it was pleasant but - by then - frankly the table legs were beginning to look tasty.
Service didn't fall within their vocabulary range.
