“Fantastic- as usual!”
Reviewed 8 August 2014

Have just returned from another 3 day stay at Easdale Lodge and first thing I did when I got up this morning was to book my next stay there! You cannot fault either the accommodation or the owners Sarah and Dave who really go out of their way to make you feel at home. The rooms are beautifully appointed, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The breakfasts are excellent with a great selection of everything and really set you up for the day. Thank you for another great break in the Lakes and already looking forward to the next time.

We stayed at Easedale Lodge for 3 nights and for me it was my first visit to the Lakes. We were greeted by Sarah who gave us some great suggestions for walks and trips we could do, as well as great places to eat in Ambleside. We stayed in room 5, a cosy double, which was lovely! Everything was very clean and well presented and the whole B&B had a lovely feel about it. Breakfast was great with plenty of choice. We would definitely return to this B&B and have already recommended it to family and friends! Thanks for a lovely first stay in the Lake District Sarah and Dave :)

We enjoyed a very pleasant two day stay at Easedale Lodge. The hosts are very friendly and clearly take pride in their establishment. The building is spotlessly clean and very well appointed. Our room (no 6) was very good with a comfy bed, two tub chairs, a TV, tea/coffee making facilities and a shower room. There was a bit of late night noise from the road opposite but I suppose that is inevitable if you want to be in a central location. The breakfasts are very tasty with plenty of food on offer. The car park is a bonus although be ready for lots of manoeuvring if you have a large car and the B&B is full! We wouldn't hesitate to book here again when we are next in the Lakes.

We stayed at Easedale lodge as a celebratory trip. Sarah and Dave were great hosts -serving a delicious breakfast! We couldn't fault our room, it couldn't have been cleaner and had everything we needed! On site parking was a great advantage as parking can be expensive in Ambleside. We are already planning another trip to Easedale lodge.

Room Tip: We stayed in a cosy double which was perfect.

We stayed in room 2 at Easedale Lodge and had the best stay. The room was immaculately clean and had every amenity we required. Sarah and Dave's hospitality was second to none and the breakfasts were delicious!! Overall this is a very very good B&B and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

This is probably the sixth B&B we have used in Ambleside and we would rate it the best. Great central location, convenient parking, great welcome. We had room 6 which had been recommended to us. It was well appointed and extremely clean with good views. It was on the front but not unduly noisy. We would have liked a larger bed and these are available in other rooms. The breakfasts were excellent. The "stand out" feature was the presentation of the house. It is beautifully decorated and extremely well maintained. Our hosts were very helpful with local knowledge and tips from start to finish.

Room Tip: Room 6 was excellent. Room 2 looked even better.

We highly recommend to stay at the Easedale Lodge in Ambleside. Eevrything was perfect, Sarah and Dave are very helpful and friendly. We felt welcome from the very first moment, which we can´t say of our other stay the nights before in another B&B. Our room was spotless clean and cozy, with nice views. Breakfast was delicious, plenty to choose from and freshly cooked. Beautiful breakfast room and nice views out of the big windows.
Very good location, short walking distance to all the shops and pubs in the city center, and only a short walk from the lake. We enjoyed the stay and will definetly return!

Room Tip: stayed in Room 4
