Held a conferance at Hundith for my area Managers.
We were looked after superbly by Sandra and all of the team.
We had 12 rooms and the large suite.
I would recommend the hotel to anyone for a conferance or a short break, nothing was too much trouble.
Food and beer fantastic as were the rooms.
Great to get such service in times when other big chains are failing.
Thanks and well done.

Perfectly acceptable hotel, friendly staff, pretty clean everywhere. Very comfortable bed (room 19), flat screen tv too small (but not really a priority when you come to this area), good quality breakfast. Top marks to Dina - very helpful with central heating etc.
We stayed to go to a wedding (not at this hotel). After travelling we needed to get ready to go to the wedding at 1pm. Very disappointed that the receptionist wanted us to pay an extra £25 to get into our room one hour before the normal check-in time of 2pm, although the room was already empty and ready! Pretty scandalous, and in the end was not charged but a very poor and unnecessary reflection on the service level. Shame.

Was at this hotel for one night, while attending a charity auction. Nice building and the staff are excellent. Bedroom was lovely and one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. Don't like carpets in bathrooms, but this one was spotlessly clean and the shower was fantastic.

Only negative is that the plates were so hot at breakfast that my scrambled eggs kept cooking and became very dry. However, coffee, toast and selection of cereals great!

wedding day 21st September 2013

Thank you to the staff at hundith hill for helping make our day so special.everything exceeded expectations from a hugely warm welcome to the cooked breakfast in the morning!!

All of our quests commented on the food and said it was by far the best tasting food from all the other wedding venues they have attended!

Thanks again and we highly recommended to others!

We only had a meal here but I wouldn't hesitate to stay in future.
The 4 of us arrived hungry after a long hard day in the saddle. It was a bank holiday weekend and, although we had local B&B, we were turned away from the local pub because they were too busy. We hesitated to approach such a smart hotel in our cycling kit, but they welcomed us, even though they were also catering for a weddding that day, and fed us handsomely with great fresh food. The staff are some of the friendliest I've ever encountered!!

My partner and I stayed one night here whilst on a motorcycle tour through the Lake District. From the outside the hotel is really beautiful and it is just as lovely inside too. The staff were really accommodating, couldn't do enough for us; and considering they were catering for a wedding the same night, this came as a very nice surprise! It was also nice to see the Manageress/owner of the hotel mingling with the guests, both at dinner and breakfast. She was a very friendly lady and seemed genuinely interested in how our stay had been.
The room was tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean; a very comfortable night indeed! Would recommend it to anyone.
