“Lekker!!”
Reviewed 28 October 2013 for a stay in October 2013

Lekker is an Afrikaans word to describe something that is realy nice and you would want more. Well Emma's holiday accomodation fits this description to the "T" and the whole family enjoyed our two night short break during the school half term. Lovely little touches like fresh bread on arrival and a grocery cupboard filled with herbs and spices to save you the inconvience of buying or bringing your own. First Class accomodation located in such a lovely area of the UK. Baie Lekker indeed!!

“Superb accommodation in a beautiful quiet position with stunning views”
Reviewed 23 May 2013 for a stay in May 2013

Great place to crash and base yourself for a break in the lakes. Do as little or as much as you like, walking in superb, close to villages and pubs. We stayed with two kids and had a blast! Thanks Emma for looking after us - a great host!

“Cosy, comfortable accommodation that provides a home from home.”
Reviewed 27 September 2012 for a stay in September 2012

We stayed in Tyan for a 3 day break. We were pleasantly surprised at how modern and cosy the cottage was. It was really like a home from home. It is in a peaceful location with amazing views, perfect if you are looking to get away from it all for a little while but also close enough to places to be able to get out and about if you choose to.
Emma and her family made us feel really welcome and where more than happy to share their knowledge of the area and offer advice of places to visit.
We would definitely recommend this as a place to stay and are looking forward to returning again ourselves next year.
