Stayed here in September 2014 with wife and young daughter (18 months old). Accommodation was very clean and tidy and although furniture and decor was a bit dated in places it was in good condition and is all you could really expect at the excellent prices charged. Superb location within a very short walk of the village and great for getting around the whole of the Lakes. Parking great - a huge space. Kitchen / Diner was compact but good and well equipped. Bedroom was huge and comfortable. May not stay here in the depths of winter as it could probably get a bit cold (with a young daughter and now I'm getting on a bit I like a bit of warmth and comfort) but it would be ideal for Spring, Summer or Autumn. Curtains in the bedroom were a bit lightweight and there's a bright street light outside, so with a small child you may get woken early unless you bring a sheet / blackout blind. Steve was very helpful and supplied an extra chair for the kitchen area for our booster seat and would've supplied a travel cot or spare bed had we needed one.

Ideal accommodation for 2 people, ideal location, ideal amenities, ideal value for money. Well worth a visit.
Fab place to stay. Would recommend to any couple.
Very grateful to steve for getting us two weeks for excellent price.
The appartment was really nice everything there we needed lovely big bedroom our own parking spot at the back . The location is brilliant handy for the shops and not too far to drive to anywhere
We have been staying here for years and as always the house was clean, tidy and ideal for us. The location is perfect, close enough to the shops and pubs, but you are still able to relax and get away from the noise. The car parking is ideal and easy to manoeuvre into - ideal for quick days out. Everything that we need was there, very comfortable living room and the bed was comfortable and calling us after long walks. Its very homely and you don't feel uncomfortable coming back even if you are soaking wet and covered in mud from a busy day walking.
we will be back at the end of next month and can't wait to be back.

We stopped in Apartment one for a week over new year. The Accomodation is fairly good, a nice tidy kitchen, lovely big bedroom and ok living room. It is lovely and central so you are a 2 minute walk from the pubs, shops etc. for the price we paid it was good, however the problem we had was it rained for most of the week and we just didn't ever seem to get dry. One downside is you have to use a £1 to turn the electric on and considering we didn't spend too much time in the apartment as we were at a friends cottage every evening it seemed to use quite a lot of electricity. It also didn't help that unless you read the terms and conditions you did not know this so the very first night I went to the toilet in the pitch black and didn't know why we had no electricity? Coniston is lovely as well so worth a visit.
