I haven't read much Wordsworth, but do like history, and found this fascinating. My tour around the cottage was very relaxed. There were 3 people in the group. The guide's interest in everything Wordsworth was evident and she could answer any question. Our tour lasted about 30 minutes, and there were bits of it that she said she could show us because the group was small. In the summer, the groups tend to be larger and the tours shorter to fit everyone in, so would recommend visiting off season if possible.
The Wordsworth Trust was set up in the 1890s so it's built up a collection from people who knew him, or whose parents knew him, so the collection feels very personal.
