Yet another two lovely days at the Grasemere hotel ,good food , good company, great place to stay.
Rob and his team are maintaining the perfect refurbishment levels that happened over the winter months ,which is good to see this , as many other revamps at other hotels tend to let standard slip once they are completed . well done keep it ;
, we are looking forward to our next visit

Do not hesitate booking a stay at the Grasmere Hotel it ticks all the boxes ... Grasmere village is for starters a lovely village to explore the dales from, one of the best. The hotel is at the end of the village, peaceful with plenty of parking. The house is perfectly decorated, clean and has a great garden with stream at the bottom, superb dining area, relaxing lounge to name a few. Food is very good and honest and rates high in my book and Anton and Rob have the place running like clockwork, with excellent young support team. I could write alot more but my advice is go and try for yourself ...

THANKS TO ALL AT THE GRASMERE HOTEL, a great few and important days for us ... wish we could of stayed longer.

Room Tip: All rooms are to a great standard

My husband and I stayed at the Grasmere for my 50th birthday this weekend. We were treated like royalty and nothing was too much trouble. The room was immaculate and the bathroom was huge with every luxury needed. The attention to detail and care the owners gave us was second to non. We had dinner in the hotel on both nights of our stay, the food was some of the best we have ever eaten. Thank you for everything, we will be back very soon.

Well where to start? The superlatives barely seem enough to cover our mini break. We only managed to cram in a one night stay and came away knowing we chose our hotel wisely. We stayed in Rob and Anton's previous hotel the Hazel Bank three years ago and it made my 50th birthday memorable for all the right reasons so were thrilled when we found they had opened a new hotel in Grasmere. We stayed in the Beatrix room - arguably their best. It was lovely and the bathroom was so luxurious. The food was superb just as we remembered from the Hazel Bank, both the evening meal and the breakfast. We didn't get to see Anton this time other than from afar as he mowed the lawn (the garden is welcoming and serene, overlooking the river) but Rob is the consummate host - a real people pleaser. We were sad to leave but are looking forward to our next break.

Stayed three nights over the recent BH weekend.

A beautiful hotel that has been tastefully refurbished. The whole place is immaculate with great attention to detail throughout. The recently fitted bathroom was lovley and the bedroom an oasis of tranquility. On top of all of this the food was really superb. We ate in the restaurant on two nights and the food was of a very high standard, adventurous without trying too hard! Rob one of the owners went out of his way to help with maps for local walks and provided excellent service during our stay. The garden that backs on to a river at is a lovely place to sit with a drink or two and we even had some sunshine. This hotel deserves its first place in Grasmere and then some! Overall fantastic, could not fault it.

Room Tip: Coleridge - At the front overlooking the car park yet very tranquil.
