Been coming to Easedale for many years. It is a lovely walk for small children and families; and also a great stop off when on a longer Lake District yomp.

Thank SkinnyJonny

Good walk up to the yarn along clear path. You'll need sturdy shoes as the path is very stony and could be muddy after rain. Lovely spot to picnic at the yarn.

Great walk up a lovely mountain to a beautiful lake. Not too strenuous as we are both in our 60's but you definitely need good walking shoes due to the mostly rocky path towards the summit.

Quite a hike but worth the effort. Take a hat and refreshment particularly when hot and sunny. There is no refreshments and little cover. A dip in the stream half way up is nice

An easy route direct from the centre of Grasmere that enables you to get into the hills quickly. The river walk part is very pretty
