We stayed for a Friday night in March. Room was ok but not as modern as the one in the pictures, it was a bit frilly! Bed a bit too sort for our liking. Bar was Very quiet which was a shame and expensive for meals. Other than that the breakfast was superb with lots of great choice. Grasmere is a very pretty little village and great for scenic walks. I would recommend an upper floor room as the floor boards are very squeaky so I guess its noisy if you have a guest above. Not bad for the price however.
