There are a number of reviews on this site about car parking, yes it is tight, yes I nearly bumped another car but did it affect my stay..No. There is also comments about breakfast, for pity sake the breakfast is an abundance of lovely food, fresh meats, Cumberland sausages, little bread things, olives, fresh bread, etc, etc. If you want a fry up go somewhere else this isn't the hotel for you. The rooms, ours was on the top floor and for an my elderly mother with cancer was hard work up and down stairs everytime, unfortunately all rooms preassigned so no changes there. The last set is steep and tight, so was hard for an elderly woman and a claustrophobic large male. The rooms were large and well appointed, the roof beams were tricky if not concentrating or had a few drinks (wife bumped head numerous times). The bed was firm and pillows near useless (some like them soft, hard or plentiful, cant please everyone). The bathroom spa bath was a welcome soak and the amenities were lovely. All in all a very lovely relaxing hotel/bnb and well worth a visit. There was some personal lubricant under the bed, so maybe a note to cleaning staff to look under there in future...eew
