Booked double room and family room, both being extremely clean. The beds were super comfy and bathroom area immaculate. Would highly recommend Premier Inn Kendal Central if visiting the Lake District.

Comfortable hotel, well-situated for Kendal High Street on foot, but still quiet. Only problem is arriving by car, from the Windermere direction you have go round the one-way system before you can turn in to the street, which is a mite irriating if there is heavy traffic. There is not enough car parking for all the guests and it costs £5 for 24 hour IF you can find a space. The local public car park is not open 24/7, and free parking behind the council offices must be vacated before 9am on weekdays.

I have family in Kendal and over the space of twenty years have stayed in many hotels from the top notch to the cheap and not so cheerful b and b. Stayed for 4 nights in a family room. Was fantastic. Loads of room, I had a massive bed, the kids had a comfy single sized bed each with still room to wander round. Cheaper than a rubbish b and b I stayed at previously too where a family room was three of us in a double bed. Mum on own with two kids, felt nice and safe too.
Breakfast was lovely, kids still talking about it - clearly I don't feed them enough. Dinner in the restaurant was nice and very well priced, dinner for three at less than 20 quid. Room spotlessly cleaned each day with teddies tucked up in bed. Can't comment on the staff as I only needed to speak to them on checking in and checking out as I had no problems at all. Nice and local for town. Will definately use again.
oooh one comment...could you have hot chocolate sachets in the room as well as tea and coffee ? Cadburys do one for hot water. if not, can you add it in the vending machine please.

Room Tip: heard no outside noise at all, not even from the corridor which is a first.

Stayed one night for friends wedding following day as it's opposite registry office. Ate some food in bar evening which was lovely. Breakfast next day was good too. It's clean and staff were really friendly, even let us extend time in our room by an hour to allow us time getting ready for wedding.
