Stayed for one night with my wife and two young children. The hotel is well situated with plenty of local restaurants, shops etc. The hotel room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Room 150 very quiet. The staff were very friendly too. The parking is not free, at the end of the road leading into the hotel there are a few spaces that you do not need to pay for as there is no sign to tell you.
Would definitely recommend and would return again.

In a great location and very convenient if you are visiting Windermere. Easy access to the M6. Right in the centre of town so shops etc are in walking distance.

Car parking will set you back £5 for 24 hours- not bad at all!

I had a great night sleep and the room was clean. Giving it a 4/5 as not all of the TV channels were working. Apart from that an excellent stay!

We stayed for four nights at the Premier recently and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We could not fault the service from all the staff, the cleanliness of the room, the quality of the food or the location. We're it not for the poor wifi we would have rated it as excellent. During our previous stays at Premier Inns, free wifi was restricted to 45 minutes per day but the quality of the connection was very good. This was our first stay where continuous free wifi was provided and the service was so poor even the simplest of tasks were virtually impossible. What was most frustrating was that we were constantly being directed to paying an additional £5.00 per day for a faster service. After the first night I tried to contact the service provider Arqiva by email but they would not respond.
Come on Premier if you are going to advertise free wifi it should be fit for purpose

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the car park above the restaurant can be noisy when smokers congregate outside during opening hours.

good central location, great welcome, comfortable room and bed. Kendal is a nice town with lots to see and do for a day and for exploring the lakes. Also very convenient for the M6 motorway in either direction.

If you decide to stay at this hotel make sure you are not placed in room 102 to 108 as you are situated over the kitchen area and there is a continuous vibration noise from the extractor fans in the kitchen below. Do not be fooled in being told this noise will stop at 10.30 pm. During our stay the heating in room 102 and 104 was also not working- rooms freezing cold.
