Owner description: Known nationally as a centre for world-class theatre, music, art and events, the Brewery has a 450 capacity music venue, three cinemas, two visual arts galleries, a drama studio, meeting rooms, a recently refurbished Grainstore restaurant, Warehouse Café, the famous Vats Bar, and a fantastic theatre seating 200.

Interestingly, we went to the Grainstore a couple of days after visiting Pedros - both places opting for the small plates approach to dining. However, the Brewery chooses to send all the plates at the same time and I must admit it was infinitely preferable being able to pick between each dish. And the food was really, really good - better than we had a couple of days earlier. So why doesn't it get 5*. Well, it doesn't have the same buzz or atmosphere even when it's fairly busy. The room, despite the recent decorating is still a bit cold and lifeless and open and the staff not as attentive as they could be. It still lacks that certain 'je ne sais quoi', but no doubting the quality of the product!

The Brewery Arts Centre deserves its reputation for good pizzas and we have been going there regularly for several years. They are reasonably priced and good quality and the atmosphere in the Vats Bar or on the Terrace and Garden is always very good and often buzzing at a weekend.
ALSO and importantly the service is prompt and pleasant. Thanks.

We visited the bar and requested a gluten free pizza, it came in 30 mins , and was very nice. The whole experience was good with all the meals being delivered together. Atmosphere was electric, with friendly people chatting. We were joined on the table with another 2 people, tables can get filled very early on a Friday, so go early from 5pm. prices are ok, and quality very good.

I really like the variety of services offered visit their web site to see what is available.

The cinema seats are comfortable and the ice cream reasonably priced. A visit can be combined with a deal. The one we normally go for is the pizza deal. Pizza is very good served in a friendly restaaurant.

The warehouse cafe is a cosy place to have a coffee and cake. The chairs are comfortable armchairs or settees. Coffee is good, the cakes are ok.

I have seen several musicians perform here and there is normally a good atmosphere.
