Towards the end of the main street past Beals, Jules and next door to the Aga shop is this super little cafe/restaurant. Although we only had caffetieres of premium coffees such as Sumatra, and cakes both were excellent. The cakes were home made - I had carrot cake which was not at all fatty but still lovely and moist. There is an offer of coffee and cakes together at certain times. The lunch menu looked interesting with two fillets of sea bass on crushed potatoes for £8.95. We will certainly be back.
