I recently visited with some colleagues after an evening meeting. The service was brilliant and so was the food. Looking forward to going back!

We visited here as large group of 8. The food was great with nice added extras such as canapes and petit fours. The service was also good. The only issue I could see with is was that the restaurant is broken into different smaller sections so if you were there as a couple it would probably lack atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit!

I recently visited as a group of 8 with my family and my fiancé's family. The restaurant setting is superb, quirky rooms and a lovely atmosphere. It was Saturday night and fairly busy so a good atmosphere was generated. My food was excellent, I had a superb piece of lamb. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food. The service was a little haphazard if I'm honest. The staff tried to remember who had ordered what dish but invariably put the wrong dish down in front of someone. No big deal but I think you either remember and get it right or don't bother. I'd definitely eat here again.

Found this restaurant on line to meet friends for lunch while we were in the UK. The photo on their website is a bit misleading in that it gives the impression it stands alone when in fact it’s right on a very narrow main road with buses, trucks and cars flashing by the window. The building dates back to the 1600s and is interesting and full of character. The food was wonderful although the portions were small, which we didn’t mind but doubt they would satisfy a heartier appetite. The staff are apprentices but the food was cooked to perfection and well presented. There are no parking facilities at the restaurant but the museum car park around the corner can be used. Would definitely recommend visiting this restaurant.
