The reason for our visit to this café was that we simply wanted a reasonably priced breakfast somewhere local to the bus station and this did just the job.

Located on the main street it's only a few minutes walk from the Bus and Train stations which suited us perfectly.

The portion sizing was good, the staff friendly and the food tasty.

We would go back again if in the area.

We always have lunch here when in town, and always the chicken and grape sarnies with a side of fries (1 bowl is plenty for the whole table to share!). Service has always been friendly, and they have a pleasant outside seating area for the summer (although this is of course spoiled by the smokers). It does get busy in high season, but there are 3 rooms with tables in so you can usually find a quiet corner to eat.

The staff here are helpful and friendly. The mains menu is what you get in a standard cafe, or what you would rustle up at home, for a quick bite. The cakes meanwhile, are SCRUMMY :-) Good sized portions too. Infact, based on what I've eaten here, the cakes are more filling than the mains too.

Came in for coffee, but the food looked so temping that we ended up having lunch. A lovely rambling old house and a garden in the back. A good selection of lunch dishes (including salads, burgers, hot sandwiches and more substantial dishes) plus some delicious cakes. The food and drinks were excellent and the prices reasonable.
