Service in the hotel was very good in all areas. We were upgraded to a room with a King size bed on arrival at no extra cost, by Krista on reception who was pleasant and helpfull.
Breakfast was buffet style with all that you want and the quality was good the sausages are excellent it included black pudding ,bacon, toms, mushrooms, choice of eggs, beans, fried bread and cereals. Tea, coffee and toast were served to your table.
We ate out in the town on the first night at Mumbai (asian) which was very good £40 total bill inc. 2 pints of Kingfisher.
On the second night we ate in the hotel and it was very good. There was only one vegetarian main course on the menu but when we asked about this they said they would
do something else for my wife so she asked for a mushroom strogonof whch she said was lovely. I can recomend the sticky toffee pudding with butterscotch sauce for desert.
We had our coffee sat in leather chesterfield chairs by reception which was so comfortable.
Whilst some areas could do with a lick of paint and repapering the hotel was very clean.
We would stay here again.More
