Brilliant size room with a wonderfully comfy bed
Bathroom had a shower and a bath
Had breakfast the next morning and the menu offered a wide choice, we both opted for the full cooked breakfast and it was delicious!

Only stayed one night but will visit when in that area again. Very convenient for M6 (only 2 mins off track). Bustling hotel. Busy car park. Good room on ground floor with supersize double!
Clean, quiet and comfortable room despite being busy. Good breakfast with helpful staff.

Excellent hotel, on arrival the staff were lovely we were told straight away we had been upgraded from the premier suite to the executive suite which was amazing. Everything you can imagine you will need was there. We ate in the restaurant which was very reasonable prices and again the staff were lovely. Would thoroughly recommend and we will be returning again soon.

Room Tip: Any room they all looked excellent

Stayed on our way up to Scotland for 1 night. Really handy as a couple of minutes off the M6. Nice and clean with very friendly staff and good food and I would recommend this as a stop off for the night.

Stayed at the hotel for a 60th birthday celebration with family and friends. Had a brilliant weekend, the hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Had a lovely meal in the restaurant and enjoyed the comfy bar area. Reference the reviewers comments about the drunks trying to get into the hotel - the drunks were not residents and the hotel could not be blamed for them trying to gain access. This is a small hotel and you cannot expect 24 hour reception.

I have stayed here before, and the location is a winner if travelling the M6 around the Lake District area.
Free parking and wi-fi as normal, bedrooms large but not luxurious at all, bathrooms need a refurb as they are very dated.
The staff are pretty good, experienced and customer orientated, the beer was good, and the menu was varied whether you eat in the bar or restaurant. Breakfast doesn't start until 7.30AM which can be an issue if you need to hit the road early.

Stayed one night. Hotel decor a hotch potch of colours and themes. Room clean and fresh but a bit small. Main problem was that we were on the ground floor near an outdoor extension to the bar and the hotel entrance, so noisy in the daytime and woken at 3am by two drunks trying to get in to the hotel. There are no staff around at night and the reception is closed between 11pm and 7am. The hotel is locked and you cannot get out. We needed to check out early which was far from easy.
