My favourite tipple is a doppio espresso with a glass of cold water. A relaxed and satisfying experience. The Illy blend has a reliable consistency and the first whiff of the black gold gives a sense of the delight to follow.

This was our first visit - we will certainly return Next time we would like to sample some of the very interesting things on the menu.
Friendly staff. Could do with extra toilet facilities.

We visited as a family of 5 on a very busy Sunday afternoon. We waited for 10 minutes to be seated as we were a large party and right from the beginning we were also told it would be just over 30 minutes for any food orders. The staff were all very courteous and friendly, bringing us a high chair and some colouring in for my 2 year old son. We had some drinks and waited the 30 minutes for food, which was definitely worth the wait. Both the open steak on sourdough bread and the pork and chorizo burger were plentiful, freshly prepared and delicious. Even though it was busy we were never made to feel rushed and we ordered cakes and more drinks after our meal. We will definitely be coming again.

We popped into brew brothers on the basis that it was the first coffee shop we walked past in Kendal and it did not let us down.
We were welcomed by lovely staff and handed a menu, We all ordered the sausage brioche sandwich and at £7 a time i was expecting them to be excellent...they were!!

The coffee is also very good and brewed with a bit of care unlike some of the "coffee" you get served in cafes.
We did wait a little while for the food but it was busy and who minds waiting when you are served something nice?
All in all a brilliant place to eat......

A warm and welcoming retreat on the high street, serving a contemporary selection of drinks and snacks, accompanied by the mellow vibe of soothing background music. The Baileys Egg Nog and Mulled wine is a must.
