An excellent friendly greeting & great staff at breakfast. Thankfully we we're fit for the climb to the top floor & great views. Room was perfect for what we needed. Would definitely return & contact the hotel direct for best offers. Free parking at rear too & handy for Central Keswick.

Room Tip: Request a room at lower level if you have difficulty with stairs.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Crow Park Hotel - we are pretty fit and had come to walk so the 6 sets of stairs weren't too daunting - I was just glad we were only there for a few days and had brought minimum luggage! The high spot was undoubtedly the view across Derwent Water from our bedroom window - one of the best I have ever seen even when the storm clouds gathered. They had thoughtfully put my elderly aunt on the ground floor so she didn't have any climb to face after numerous walks round Keswick and environs.
The location was perfect for getting to the town and to the Lake - and having the car park attached was helpful for leaving behind dirty walking boots etc!
We did think the price was a bit high when we booked online but made allowances for the high season and the big cooked-to-order breakfast being included in the price. The staff were all very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the local area.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the front have a stunning view - the downstairs rooms have little view - but at least y...

This was our second year at the Crow Park Hotel which was every bit as good as our first visit. We were allocated the same room as last year (Skiddaw) which was on the ground floor and suited us down to a fine art. The bedroom was spacious and the standard of cleanliness was excellent. The two waiters Mathew and Paul were an absolute delight - always pleasant, always had time for a chat, very down to earth, and very accommodating. The dining room had been renovated since our last visit which was absolutely awesome. We had dinner in the hotel a few nights during our stay - if we could not select anything from the menu, the waiters were always very obliging in offering an alternative dish - nothing was a problem to them. Meals were first class and big portions. If you left the table hungry, it was your own fault. A cooked breakfast selection was on offer as was the opportunity to help yourself to a lovely buffet - again delicious. In the evening you have the opportunity to sit in the sitting room where everybody was very chatty and friendly - it was just a lovely hotel to stay in and would certainly recommend the Crow Park to anybody - no faults whatsover.

Stayed in this hotel 25 years ago, and a return visit did not disappoint. Spotlessly clean room, only slightly let down by a lack of biscuits to go with the tea/coffee. Breakfast was extremely tasty. Staff friendly and efficient.

Not the cheapest hotel in town, but the views of the mountains and lake are to die for.

This hotel overlooks Hope Park and the Lake and has stunning views. We were in room 14, which is a classic room with a lovely view. The room was spacious with adequate storage space and good lighting. The shower was excellent with a good flow rate. We could not fault the decor or cleanliness. Perhaps a hook behind the bedroom door would have been useful for outdoor jackets and we would have appreciated biscuits on the hostess tray, however, there was a good supply of tea and coffee. There was a good large dressing table area, although I would recommend taking a travel mirror if you like sitting to do your makeup, as the chairs were too low to reach the high dressing table. There was a coffee table and two chairs in the room placed right at the window, where we could admire the excellent view. Overall, the room was very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good.

Room Tip: Choose a classic room rather than a standard one as our room was very spacious. Room 14 has a lovely...

The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Facilities dated and basic no luxuries.
Double room was very compact but nice to have 2 comfy chairs in front of the window to enjoy the fantastic views, our room had a bath but no shower and the hair dryer was next to the tea and coffee facilities !!!!
Evening meal was average but sadly all the tables were set for breakfast around us. Breakfast made up for it, it was lovely with lots of choice, interesting watching the one sauce bottle being passed around every table !!
Wifi does not work and no phone in room to ring reception.

Stayed here for a weekend in June. Set overlooking Derwent Water in Keswick, it is in a prime spot. Parking is a nightmare though. The hotel has limited spaces out back, and the road outside (which is free to park on) is always full. Breakfast was good. Staff very friendly. You might need to get fit first if you have a room on the top floor......
