Just returned from Low nest Farm and it was fantastic. We were greeted with a warm welcome from Alison, who runs the apartments that we stayed in. The room was fantastic and Alison and her husband John have done a great job of converting these barns. They are modern but retain a classic charm, with real wood windows, oak doors and fantastic tied floors. The place had everything we needed and all fitted to a very high standard. A welcome pack was in the room, not for us but for the dog!, this is beyond a 5 star hotel for dogs, with humans thrown in. The views from the room were what you would want to wake up with every day of your life. The farm is just outside of Keswick but close enough. If you are a keen walker you can walk in or in about 3 minutes you are there in the car. I would gladly recommend this to anyone and look forward for the opportunity to go again, lets hope they can fit us in!!

Room Tip: Would recommend the Rise with its under floor heating and great space plus it had a bigger tv.

While researching family history I discovered Low Nest B&B and what a reward it was to stay there for 2 nights with my Cousin. Angela's warm welcome,, the comfort of the accommodations and the covenant location for exploring the Lake District outside of the more touristy areas was perfect for my visit. This is a pet friendly establishment which was fine with us despite not having our own dog traveling. There was no noise or odors to disturb non pet accompanied guests.

The home cooked with farm eggs, was especially good and plentiful!
I can't wait to go back there again. Well doneLow Nest!

Room Tip: The double room overlooking the hills is just the best! Especially on full moon nights.

Overlooking Helvellyn and High Rigg Fell this is a fantastic place for dogs and owners. It's all just so well thought out for two and four legged guests. It's also exceptionally clean and the welcome and service from Alison, who runs the studios, is fantastic. Five stars from us and Five woofs from our dog, Solo as well.

We have wanted to try low nest farm for some time and we eventually made it there this weekend - boy were we not disappointed (and neither was George our dog). Angela was a lovely host and immediately made us all feel so welcome - it was all so fab - the welcome basket for George, the spotlessly clean room, the towels to dry your dog in the porch, the field for exercise, the AMAZING agility course, the gorgeous breakfast, the stunning views....I could go on - it is just a fantastic place and we will most definitely be returning! Dogtastic
