This was the first time we have stayed here and I would definately come back again. The rooms are comfortable, clean and well priced. The breakfasts are delicious and will keep you well fuelled for a day on the mountains and the owners Graham and Gina are friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable about the local area.

As others have found, you couldn't wish for a more hospitable welcome than this. Graham and Gina are very friendly and provide a comfortable, well equipped place to stay. They serve excellent breakfasts and give a lot of attention to detail, so if you like your towels and flannels soft and your tea and biscuits of good quality, try here. The area is very quiet, yet just a short easy walk into town. We stayed two nights in a twin room at the top of the house. They warned us when booking that it was compact, but even my 6' 6" brother found it fine for our purposes. No hesitation in recommending it.

Room Tip: The twin room at the top won't suit you if you like loads of space to spread out.

We have stayed at Harvington House several times. Graham and Gina are always very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are comfortable and extremely clean. Good choice of breakfast which is delicious. The location is within an easy walk of the town centre and amenities. Nothing is ever too much trouble for Graham and Gina and their local knowledge regarding walking, cycling etc is extensive. We will be staying there again in the future and would recommend it to our friends.

I stayed 3 nights in a single room and used it as a base for day walks around Keswick. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. I really enjoyed the breakfast. The location is close to the bus stop, the town center and the lake. The hosts are friendly and have great suggestions for walks and places to visit. Will be returning in the future.
