We have stayed here a number of times over the years and just recently returned following a long weekend break. Graham and Gina are great hosts and make you feel part of the family, nothing is too much trouble for them. The accommodation is immaculately clean with lots of little extra touches that you don't always find in a B & B . The quality of the food served at breakfast is excellent including the biscuits, tea and coffee (even hot chocolate) in the bedrooms.

We spent two wonderful nights here in August and really - we can't wait to go back again, soon I hope.
We received a very warm welcome at the door from Graham and Gina who instantly made us feel at home.
We were offered the use of as many guidebooks, walking guides, maps, information booklets as we wanted - they also have umbrellas and walking poles available. A really nice touch.
Graham and Gina are both really knowledgable about the area and gave us lots of helpful advice for good walking routes, where to eat and drink of an evening etc,
Our room was comfortable (room 3), more than adequate to our needs.
The breakfasts in the morning were superb: A choice of fruit, yoghurts, fruit juice, cereals etc, followed by the traditional cooked breakfast. You can have whatever combination of breakfast you wish - nothing seems too much trouble.
They also provide a daily weather forecast print out, available for guests, in the breakfast room.
The breakfast room itself is light, airy and sunny - a very friendly atmosphere.
Thank you Graham and Gina Burn - can't wait to see you again soon!

Room Tip: Rooms at the top of the house have the best mountain views.

A beautiful B&B right in the heart of Keswick... its clean and cosy with a warm and friendly welcome. Nothing was too much trouble for Gina & Graham - who was on hand to help us with advice on where to walk in the local area, drawing us maps, he also recommended a great pub to visit in Buttermere.

It was my Birthday and when we got back after a long walk there was a card and bottle of wine waiting in the room! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Harvington House and we will definitely visit again - Leonard & Tiffany Field

We enjoyed our visit immensely and would happily return again. Our room was clean and comfortable and very good value. Breakfasts were delicious. Nothing was too much trouble for our welcoming hosts Gina and Graham. Harvington House is in a quiet street, ideally situated for the town, lake and Keswick Convention. Parking could have been a problem but wasn't. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

A very warm welcome was received by us on arrival at Harvington House. The standard of the accommodation was very high. The breakfast was tasty with a very good choice. It is situated close to the town, and should you wish to venture further Graham was on hand with directions and advise. Thank you to Graham and Gina for a lovely stay.

We arrived at Harvington House with a plan to stay for five nights, but then added another, knowing full well we would be squeezed on our final day to return to Morocco. I have read the other reviews, and agree thoroughly with those who emphasized the warmth of Gina and Graham, delicious breakfasts, their knowledge of the area and surrounding places, and the general location, charm and comfort of their B&B. We also received quick assistance from them with a sudden flat tire, a necessary haircut (as a woman, I cannot find them easily in Morocco) and advice on how to cram in as much shopping in an hour or so as possible. What I really enjoyed about both Graham and Gina was their breadth of travel experience, and their understanding that the world is indeed a complicated place. Additionally, a sense of humor goes a long way with me, and we shared quite a few laughs with these gracious hosts.

An old school friend and I stayed here for a couple of nights in May after not visiting for over a decade (busy lives). The warmth of welcome, standard of accommodation, tasty breakfast and helpful advice hasn't dwindled one bit in our absence. Close to the town so you can wander in for some post-walk refreshment, great views from our top floor window. Only thing they couldn't do was wind back the years for our tired legs! Would recommend to any walkers who want a friendly place to stay in Keswick.
