We stayed here for a couple of nights in August and absolutely loved this place. We don't often stay in B&Bs but I have to say that the quality, size and standard of the room we had at the Lookout (room 3) surpassed many of the hotels we have stayed in over the years. There are only 3 rooms in the B&B which gives it a very tranquil, relaxed atmosphere which we really enjoyed. The room itself was beautifully furnished (with locally sourced items where possible) and extremely comfortable and the bathroom was spacious, with probably the best shower I have ever had in my life!
We were lucky enought to be able to sit out on our balcony on a sunny summer's evening and enjoy a glass of wine while admiring the lovely garden as well as the stunning views behind.
The hosts were welcoming and friendly, and happy to advise on access into town and local walks when asked.
Breakfast was very tasty - cooked to order and a good sized portion. I can particularly recommend the scrambled eggs which definitely beat any I have had in hotels in the past!
I would definitely recommend the Lookout and we hope to return in the future :-)More
