What a lovely review. I had to smile when I read about my garden at the front of the house, because over the years I have entered the Keswick in bloom comp and won several times, including best in association. My visitors appreciate the time and trouble we put into making the small garden at the front of the house look good for them to sit and take in the views of the mountains, this is what the Lake District is all about. Fell House is comfortable, clean, and I hope friendly, we must be doing something wright, as people keep coming back to stay again and again.
I hope to say hello to you again soon.

Thank you for a great review. I really hope to see you again very soon.
I do think that the large car park at the rear of the house is a great asset
to our visitors as parking in Stanger Street is hopeless. We try to cover all
problem areas, such as using 2.5 tog duvets during the hot weather to make sure
our visitors slept well, Our guests are very very important to us and hopefully
will .keep coming back to FELL HOUSE.

What a really fantastic review, we go to great lengths to make sure we get the best for our visitors, after all they are the people that matter. A good nights sleep is very important as is a great breakfast to set you up for the day ahead. Every thing in our bedrooms are quality, so keeping it looking really nice is very important to Fell House.

Fell House is up a short hill, a very short walk from the town centre on one side and the river / Fitz Park on the other. While in Keswick, we went to the Convention and also did the walk to the west side of Derwentwater (Nichol End Marine recommended) and took the launch at Keswick Pier. The museum has a fascinating exhibition on Chris Bonnington.
Colin and Barbara have arranged everything so well and made us very welcome. Room 4 has views out towards the hills and we didn't mind that the bathroom (private not shared) was a few steps away. Everything was very clean and the bathroom is like new. All the little extras are provided (like face cloths, shampoo/conditioner, biscuits with the tea/coffee in room, bath robe). Of special note is the presentation of breakfast - particularly the poached egg (came on toast and with garnish) and the split tomatoes, but it was all lovely. Wifi worked fine. Thanks for a great couple of nights!

Room tip: Don't be put off by the phrase about room 4's shower room "down the hall" - it is just a few feet away!
