Queued for a sandwich to eat outside. Young girl serving appeared to be deliberately slow. I asked for pork sandwiches to be told they had run out of pork and I had to choose from ready prepared/packed sandwiches despite the sign saying made fresh to order I brought to her attention that I could see the pork by the slicer. Ordered large lattes. Got small - should have walked away but had appointment and needed to eat. There are lots of lovely tea rooms in Keswick. If Brysons cannot provide helpful staff who can pick up speed when there is a queue they do not deserve your custom. Sorry - from a now ex-regular customer.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review - the young lady to whom you are referring was on a trial training day. We noted the issues ourselves and therefore did not progress to a second day. Whilst this is unfortunate, as you have experienced, customer service is very important and we do hope you visit again in the future

We enjoyed afternoon tea at Bryson's tea room. It is only served upstairs rather than on the lovely patio downstairs. While the service was friendly, it wasn't attentive. We had to work hard to get their attention for a refill of the tea and water. The food was good, but not exceptional. I would recommend it if you want a relaxing tea, but don't go with high expectations.

This was a family run establishment which still has the same ethos running through the shop and cafe. Eat in or enjoy the pavement eating places and watch the world go by.
Delicious food; cakes sandwiches and drinks. Reminiscent of homemade and full of goodness. Wonderful decorative celebration cakes and the wonderful moist rich Christmas Cakes are sent far afield .
