This is the cleanest and modern b&b we've stayed in. Refreshing to stay somewhere of such quality without paying extortionate prices. Great location near Derwentwater lake and 2 min walk to centre of Keswick. Highl recommended!More
What a great place from the moment we arrived until we left after three days the staff were fantastic.
The location must be the best in Keswick and they provide a breakfast to match.
The photos on the website are good but the place in real life is even better.
We will definitely stay here next time we are in Keswick 100%

We were given a warm welcome when we arrived for out 2 night stay. All of the staff were very helpful. We were in room 2 which is excellent with great veiws over the park, the room has a very relaxing feel to it and is also very comfortable. The breakfast was really good and there is plenty of chjoice. The hotel is in a very good location, only a couple of minutes walk into the centre and plenty places to stop for a coffee or a beer on the way. We will definatley stay there on our next visit to Keswick we had a great time.

Lakeside House ticks all the boxes. It's perfectly located for the town and the lake; it's beautifully furnished and immaculately clean; the staff are helpful and friendly, and the breakfasts are delicious. Couldn't recommend it more highly!

Very helpful friendly staff, perfect central location, lovely clean warm rooms, delicious breakfast, couldn't ask for anything more! Been to Keswick a few times and this was our favourite hotel so far. Can't wait to go back to the Lakeside

We stayed for the weekend and right from the moment we walked in the place felt like home, warm, welcoming and finished to the highest standards and that was just the building, the staff were lovely and made you feel relaxed and at ease from the very start. The room (16) was absolutely amazing, on the top floor, large, open and warm with spectacular views over the lake and towards Cat Bells. The bathroom was huge and immaculately finished, with the added bonus of views towards Skiddaw. Everything in the room was warm, clean with no expense spared on towels, bedding, and decoration to name just a few items. Breakfast was exactly what was needed to kick start the day in the Lakes and the hotels close proximity to the town centre, lake and parks was absolutely perfect, there was also plenty parking for cars surrounding the hotel too. I cannot complain about anything no matter how hard I try, a lovely place and I am pleased that I have discovered it, a gem in the Lakes and I will be back.
