This is really a "boutique " bed and breakfast" and as such everything is as you would expect. White is used to maximum effect ...in the decor the breakfast room is more like an art gallery being really light and bright with some good prints on the walls.

The bedroom we had was right at the top of the house but was also light and airy...bed was very comfortable and of course good white linen and nice ensuite .

Breakfast was a triumph, as others agree, all home made and excellently sourced bacon, sausage etc.

Position was just great...so close to town being a stroll away from restaurants and bars.

Should say we also enjoyed the walking up there....great views from Cat Bells!

Charlotte and Andy thank you for making Tony and me so welcome ...we will definitely return.

Sheila

First time in a B&B and very impressed. Beautiful white and dark wood colour scheme with excellent facilities. Delicious breakfast featuring local produce and home made virtually everything! Great location very close to the centre of Keswick. Andy and Charlotte are very welcoming and accommodating. Our children fell in love with Shy the dog and were really sad to leave. Would recommend without reservation.

We are staying here for 2 nights. We have 3 children and often struggle to find family rooms for 5. Not here! Spacious room with double bed, bunks and extra single bed - all very comfy and even our dog is welcome. Delicious breakfast including wonderful granola and bread both homemade, great selection of fruit and yogurt as well as the usual cooked breakfast. Great advice on child friendly activities. Superb location with parking close by.
Wi-fi too so we could keep our business running whilst enjoying a relaxing break.
We will definitely be back.

Brilliant guest house run by Andy and Charlotte- relaxed atmosphere.

Well equipped rooms - clean and stylish.

Fab breakfast sets you up for a day walking.

No need for a car as location so central.
But if you do bring a car easy parking.
Will be returning!

What a nice couple! What amazing accommodation! What amazing food!

Firstly, Andy and Charlotte could not be more welcoming and friendly. They move mountains to meet your needs ensure you have an excellent experience.

We thought the accommodation was impeccable. So outstanding we have recommended other friends to stay who are looking for the very highest quality and standards.

Ah, now the food. Andy and Charlotte bake their own beautiful bread and just provide top quality delights on a plate!

Room Tip: Don't worry, they're all great

Best Bed and Breakfast we stayed at on our trip to England. We stayed in the family room with the bunkbeds and it was comfortable and one of the most updated/luxurious Bed and Breakfasts we've come across. We were thoroughly impressed (Andy has a great dog as well) but what Andy did one day I would never expect of any 5 Start Hotel. The day before we unfortunately parked beneath a tree at Warwick Castle and had our car thoroughly covered in bird droppings. After taking our car through two car washes we had resigned ourselves to the fact that we would be driving a feces covered car for the next two weeks (what do birds eat in England that create concrete like poop?) Regardless we returned one day and Andy had taken it upon himself to powerwash our car and cleaned it all up for us, just because. Couldn't believe it and promised him I would take the time to write him up here (never written a review of any other B&B/Hotel and I travel all the time) to give him the credit he deserves - Thanks again Andy!!

Have just spent 4 nights at this B&B as part of a walking party of 7. This is the third time in recent years and it just seems to get better and better each time. Andy and Charlotte could not do enough for us. From using their tumble drier to dry walking clothes due to the heavy rain to providing excellent information on the local area and restaurants and of course providing outstanding and delicious breakfasts with the show stopper being Andy's home made bread. You must try it! Many thanks - we will be back soon!
