This is our 6th visit to the Keswick Country House Hotel. We love it there. They have everything just right! The staff are efficient, pleasant and very helpful. The food is superb, lots of choice and of a very high quality. We were delighted to see the Hotel all ready for Christmas, even down to chef's superb mulled wine, which added to the atmosphere, can't wait to return for our New Year break. This time we opted for "Station" rooms which we were delighted with, due to their extra space. The weather was poor but did not spoil our stay one little bit.

Room Tip: Station rooms have extra space.

We have visited in both 2011 and 2012 and standards are very good indeed. Staff are welcoming, attentive and efficient but not at all obtrusive. Food is fantastic and the value for money is unbeatable.

this is the third hotel in the group we have stayed at and again we were met with friendly staff and great suroundings, the hotel is a short walk to keswick centre and is a great base to stay at.
we went with family for a 50th birthday for my wife, the hotel clean and tidy and the food was great with a good choice of evening meal, the rooms we stayed in were comfortable and clean you could pay more for one of the other rooms in this hotel but for us its a base to keep your stuff and sleep but would have been more than comfortable to spend time in, the only down side was that the lift was not working at the time but that was not a problem for us as we need the exercise.
The staff as always were great and nothing was to much trouble for them and we were always greated with a friendly smile from all.
So once again well done choice hotels as you have got it right again and we are planing to stay at one of your hotels early 2013 just not sure wich one.

Spent 3 days last week. Suites been refurbished, plenty of space to relax. Clean rooms, fresh towels daily. Weather horrendous but returning to warm hotel with friendly welcoming staff made it a great break. Food amazing again. Great value for the deal we had. Thank you.

Room Tip: Worth paying extra for suite, lovely hill views, huge beds, plenty of space with added seating area.

It's just a great place in a great area - we have visited a number of times over the years and although we enjoy the comfort of the familiar we always find new things to do and places to visit, plus the indulgence of returning to a warm and welcoming hotel for a relaxing evening with a good meal served by courteous and efficient staff. We can't wait to find the time to go back.
I do miss the tomato juice and Marmite at breakfast though !
