This was our first time staying at Brierholme but it won't be the last. Trevor and Gerry are wonderful hosts; the day starts bright with Gerry's infectious smile.
The house and the rooms are immaculate; they look as if they were decorated yesterday. Breakfasts were beautifully cooked by Trevor and there was a good selection of uncooked supplements, especially home made marmalade..
Although the house in central to all Keswick's amenities, there is useful private car-parking space.

This is the second year we have stayed at the Brierholme for our wedding anniversary, Trevor and Geraldine make you feel really welcome and are well informed on what's going on locally, walks etc., the rooms are well equipped and spotless, central location and breakfast is brilliant. We enjoyed our stay that much that we have booked to stay here again next year.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 8 on both our stays which it at the very top of the house, good views of the fells

Great location to everything with town just a minutes walk away. Good breakfast, nice rooms and owners very helpful. Plenty of parking. Thoroughly recommended and would stay again. Went along for a walking weekend and Keswick beer festival.

Had a fantastic short stay at "Brierholme".Nothing was to much trouble for our hosts Gerry and Trevor, who were very friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Room was very comfortable and spottlesley clean, and we also had a fantastic view or the many hills which surround Keswick. Breakfast was awesome, plenty of choice and the full English, set you up for the day (thanks for the late tomatoes, Trev? hee hee). Will definitely be returning in the near future, would highly recommend. A big "THANK YOU" to Gerry and Trevor.

We stayed at Brierholme before we ran the 22km Great Trail Challenge. I was pleasantly surprised by the B&B, our room was lovely with stunning views out over Keswick. We stayed at the front of the property and I could see the mountains from the bed. It was so peaceful and quiet at night. This B&B couldn't be better located, walking distance to starting line of the race, and to the centre of Keswick.

I have often found it uncomfortable staying in guest houses, either you feel you are encroaching on someone's home, or the hosts are either really OTT or a bit backward and strict, and you don't feel you have any privacy... Geraldine and Trevor were perfect - genuine, down to earth hosts with a sense of humour, they helped us plan a walking route, let us borrow ordnance survey maps, and catered for my vegetarian diet with a great breakie.

Would definitely come back and recommend to others!

The friendly owners Gerry and Trevor made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. Our room at the back of the house, was light and quiet with a lovely view of their garden and a distant fell. We appreciated the two bottles of water supplied in our room, and the big mugs and teapot provided for the complimentary tea, coffee, hot chocolate and cookies. These nice touches make a lasting impression.
The hot english breakfast was delicious, generous and cooked to order. Every day, Gerry made the best fresh fruit salad, and she also made her own marmalade. We found plenty of good restaurants and pubs, nearby and a supermarket.
We could not believe our luck, when we realised that our hosts, Gerry and Trevor had extensive knowledge of the Fells because they had hiked most themselves. They gave us plenty of personal advice on all the Fells that we had come to Keswick to hike. They also have a library of guide books and maps on many of the fells, which guests can borrow. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Christine and Karmel.
