What a lovely place to stay, located within walking distance of town and the lake. The scenery was beautiful
The Rowan Tree was faultlessly clean throughout and the bed was sooo comfortable!! Everything right down to the complimentary bathroom products was provided to a very high standard.
Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice.
I will definitely return, soon.
A big thank you to Amanda & Steve for making our short stay so memorable for all the right reasons.

Warm welcome, very cozy rooms and lovely decor. Excellent attention to detail with tea/coffee tray, basket with complimentary bathroom products and clock beside the bed. We also enjoyed breakfast; there was plenty of choice and also veggie options. Keswick is a lovely place to visit and the lake area is stunning. Thank you Steve and Amanda for a lovely stay!

Great service, great food and very very comfy beds, can't fault the service or the attention to detail and above all very kind and generous hosts, couldn't do enough for you. Would stay here again without any hesitation.
Fantastic Service 10 out of 10

Room Tip: Stayed in Room 2 with two friends - enough space for all

We found the place from the internet last minute but we were very pleasantly surprised! Despite being surrounded by many B&B, I would highly recommend Rowan Tree. Amanda and Steve are one of the most helpful and friendly hosts that we have met. Just about everything was great. The location is just 5 minutes away from the town centre and just 2 minutes away from the walking trail. From the first night, Amanda gave us many information about the walks and even lent us maps to refer to for our planning. Rooms are new, neat and clean. The bathroom was nicely done up with good quality essentials like soap and bath gel. The bed... we sank into the mattress and never wished to get up again. It was like sleeping on a hugh plush soft toy! Breakfast was lovely and delicious. Having free wifi allowed us to research for the next day effortlessly. Steve and Amanda would be up early to prepare the cooked breakfast. (Thanks Amanda for generously allowing 2 eggs every morning!) It definite recharges us for the day of adventure ahead! Amanda and steve would also go out of the way to help us find out the details of the activities and phone up those operators to clarify. Indeed, we met as strangers, but left as friends. I highly recommend this to all who are planning to stay in Keswick.

Room Tip: Room 1! you won't regret. =)

The Rowan Tree is a newly opened B&B and I must say the the owner, Amanda, has made a wonderful job of the decoration. It's just beautiful. Everything is top quality. We were staying in Room 1 which, although small, was perfectly formed. The bed was soooo comfortable! The breakfast was lovely, especially the poached egg and the sausages, and Amanda even asked us if we wanted a fresh fruit salad for the 2nd morning as she was going shopping that day! We hope to return soon. I highly recommend it!

Room Tip: I'd try for one of the larger rooms, next time!
