Thank you Pam & Arthur for your lovely warm welcome on our 2nd visit over the August Bank Holiday, which exceeded our already high expectations derived from our first visit in April. On our arrival we were greeted as though we were family friends, and Arthur had kindly saved us a parking spot directly in front of the B&B. Once again we had the delight of being upgraded to the larger room 6 at the top of the building, which was modern & fresh, spotlessly clean and included those little extra touches such as bottled water, chocolates and lovely toiletries. Breakfast as before was fantastic, and even the fussiest of eaters would be able to find something they enjoyed on the extensive breakfast menu, all freshly cooked to order. Pam & Arthur are wonderful hosts and genuinely care about giving their guests a wonderful experience. Hence throughout our stay we felt very relaxed, a home from home, or just like visiting family for the weekend. In fact we did linger on our last day at breakfast as we just didn't want to go home! We are already planning our next visit so keep that parking spot free! Thanks again Pam & Arthur xx

This was our second stay at the Sevenoaks and again we were not disappointed. We stayed in the Bonnington room which was lovely and very comfortable, all the little touches made it extra special especially the chocolates! Pam and Arthur were great and could not have done any more to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The breakfasts tasted amazing and kept us going through most of the day! The location was perfect just a short walk to the town and was in a great position allowing us to be able to go out and about in the Lakes. And we can't wait to go back!

Well.... Where do I begin. I have just literally getting back home to Newcastle after spending two nights at the Seven Oaks with my fella Micky. This b n b is run by the most adorable couple. The beautiful Pam and the wonderfully handsome Arthur. These two ppl made our stay in the lakes even more special and more amazing than we could ever possibly have imagined. Like their Lil plaque says on their wall..... Come in as 'strangers', leave as 'friends'. Well, that's exactly what has happened to both Micky and I. Pam and Arthur are two very special ppl, they not only are a credit to their home town of the North East, but also to our beautiful English Lake District. You will not be disappointed staying here. You are made to feel special as soon as you arrive, to the very minute you leave.Words cannot begin to explain what a fabulous and memorable wknd you have helped given Micky and I. Thank you both, for not only yr incredible and outstanding hospitality and hostess ness , but for yr warmth, kindness and yr love n laughter you shared with us. This has been an unforgettable wknd and adds to all our memories Micky and I have been very fortunate and shared together. We both love the 'outdoors' and with Pam and Arthur's fantastic knowledge of the lakes and not forgetting their incredible breakfasts to help fuel yr journeys ha ha ..... We were fortunate to be able to climb the famous 'Hellvelyn' and boy was this an amazing experience! Absolutely incredible. And..... I'm feeling it now!!!! Every muscle in my body aches, but what definitely worth all that pain. I can't wait to climb Scarfell next time. And Seven Oaks will be our new home each time we visit the lakes now in the future. We will not only be visiting the outstanding beauty of the Lake District, but popping in to see our two new lovely friends. They have now left their Lil mark on our hearts and we will hold them very dear to us when we are at home or on other journeys in the future. Thank you both for another amazing memory to add to our collection. Enjoy yr sweeties. Remember.... Top secret!!!! Hee Hee. We wish you both love n happiness and lots and lots of laughter. Hee Hee. From yr two Geordie smileys, and two very determined climbers. Until we meet again Pam and Arthur. Take care. Lots n lots of love from us both. Kelly n Micky xxxx
