Four of us ate an evening meal there. The beer was good (but expensive); the garlic bread came quite quickly and was tasty. The main courses took an absolute age - to the point where we were wondering whether we should go elsewhere - trouble is, most places in Keswick stop serving at 21:00 so we didn’t really have time to find anywhere else. When the main courses did come, they ranged from poor to (in my case) awful. My risotto had no flavour whatsoever (apart from the cheese shavings on top). The rice had congealed into areas that were partly hard and dry. It looked and tasted as if it had been cooked on another day, then frozen; defrosted and microwaved. I really don’t like giving any restaurant just one star but along with my wife and friends, I couldn’t justify giving it more.
