We secretley booked a couple of nights to surprise our friends who were also staying there as birthday surprise in september ,as it turned out we wished we had booked a week rather than a weekend.
Anne and Andrew have made every effort to make their guests stay as enjoyable and entertaining as possible.
From the moment you step inside the door you feel warm and comfortable with friendly chat, hearty food and nice decor throughout.

There was no question which guest house we would be booking, and once again, Andrew and Anne were the perfect hosts. Everything was up to its normal high standard and we had a really enjoyable stay. Perfect food, perfect room and I find it particularly nice that Andrew and Anne speak to their guests each morning, handing out useful tips if needed and showing a genuine interest in their guests.

Anne and Andrew have gone that extra mile to make sure this guest house is no ordinary guest house. The whole house is decorated to a high standard and extremely clean throughout. The added touches of a sewing kit (just in case), bottle opener (for those who want a quiet night in), cotton wool balls and cotton buds along with essential like soaps, shower gel and shampoo are appreciated along with tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfasts were delicious and well presented. Anne and Andrew were available to talk to every morning. Thanks for a lovely stay and we do highly recommend it.

Room Tip: all rooms are lovely and cater for singles and couples front room views are fab. Al rooms are named after trees ours was the Rowan Room.
