Rang late Saturday 31/5/2014 spoke to Helen who just by her voice sounded friendly said yes
Arrived late straight to room tea biscuits wine opener everything you want asked for iron and iron board 2 minutes later Helen reappeared with both items, slept really well I am fussy about beds but just right, the breakfast was one of the best we have had as we try and go every other weekend to the lakes and it was a excellent stay kept number for future so thank you Mark and Helen

We stayed for 3 nights over the bank holiday. Peaceful location..no traffic noise. We parked reasonably easily on a late Friday pm on a BH weekend. Made to feel very welcome, as was our little dog. Nothing seemed too much trouble. Breakfast was great.always nice to see veggie sausages and hash browns offered. So often overlooked. The room itself and all over the B&B....really spotlessly clean. The owners graft and it shows in the housekeeping. Being dog owners themselves, your own pet is made to feel very welcome and is greeted with a cuddle and gravy bones on the hospitality tray! Our room was a little small but perfectly fine. Bathroom small but well organised ( I have stayed in places with much bigger bathrooms badly organised and this is far more inconveniencing). Power shower was amazing. Having paid £35 each for an ensuite room that is clean, well organised, quiet, warm and comfortable with a good breakfast in the morning...we have no complaints whatsoever. If we had paid double that we might feel a bit pickier. I don't really understand people complaining at that price when all the obvious bases are covered with some rather nice touches added in. Helen and Mark work really hard to provide a relaxed and comfortable base. We will visit again.

Room Tip: We had room one...really peaceful and great shower

After ringing half the b&b's in Keswick only greystoke bothered to pick up the phone

£80 for two adults and a big dog and for the owners to put up with Scooby for a day was well worth it

Its close to both parks and town centre

Breakfast was nice and big :)

Parking can be hard but you just deal with it

Room was a bit small as we had a big dog also bathroom is a bit small but very clean and tidy

Would happily stay here again

Had a lovely stay at Greystoke, the breakfast was the best I have ever had at a B&B, lovely! The room was really clean and Mark and Helen were really dog friendly which was great as our dog was soaked every day! I am just sorry that we left early but we had no dry clothes left so left a day early which is a real shame, I would recommend Greystoke House to anyone its in a great position for the town centre and we really enjoyed our stay, thank you!

We stayed here last week, we were given a choice of room, shown all the basic's and left alone. Breakfast was excellent, you place your order the night before so it can come out quicker in the morning. The room was very clean, the shower was powerful and always hot. It was a brilliant weekend and I will stay here again when I'm in that neck of the woods and would recommend it to any one.
