Flat was excellent, clean and spacious, with it's own entrance, private patio and garden. Very comfortable and felt like home. Great location, quiet yet very near to Keswick centre. No need for a car at all. Very convenient for walking and sight seeing - beautiful mountains and stunning lake.

Spent a lovely week here with my hubby the accomodation was perfect for our needs. (I walk with the aid of a stick)
The apparat meant is beautifully finished to a high standard. Walk in shower a real bonus. The kitchen is well equipped with a proper sized fridge and freezer and a washing machine.
The sleeping area spacious and the bed very comfortable.
We will definitely return here I highly recommend both the accomodation and the helpfulness of the owner.

“Lovely break in The Lakes”

Have just returned from a 4 day/3 night stay at this property.
The property was as advertised. It was close to the centre of Keswick however we were always able to get a parking space nearby.
Although Steve the owner was not there when we arrived he introduced himself the next morning and was able to assist us when we needed help and provided information before our arrival.
The property was spacious, clean and well equipped and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.
We would not hesitate in recommending this property to other couples.

Great weather, great location and great time! Will be back!
Was greeted as we arrived which was a nice touch - and enjoyed chatting with some of the neighbours.

“Location, Location, Location”
Reviewed 8 June 2015 for a stay in June 2015

This ground floor apartment is perfectly situated in Keswick town, just a couple of streets away from the centre. Close enough for convenience, far away enough to not have ramblers and cyclists filing down past the front window. Although the apartment lacks a designated parking spot and access is gained via the rear door, we never once failed to find a parking spot on the street. However, we didn't have to contend with attempting to park in the high season, which I suggest might make things a little less convenient for those staying in July or August. Hence only the 'four bubble review'.

On entering the apartment, we found it well laid out and immaculately clean. It is in the detail where the property excels. We never once wanted for a utensil or cleaning product. The cupboard under the stairs provided the perfect place to clear away the electric fire and collapsible tables which pretty much made the place completely toddler friendly. The owner, Steve, had even provided a couple of tea bags, coffee pouches and a jug of milk for a cuppa upon arrival and the shelves were even well stocked with books. Steve himself was a gentleman who aided us both before and during our stay.

If you're reading this review, you're probably already of a mind to stay in Keswick already, but we couldn't recommend the town highly enough. It's a great spot for visiting all the lakes, for ramblers round Derwentwater and of course for the many eateries. It even has not one, but two public parks, one of which is just across the road from the apartment.

All in all it's a great apartment in a great location, Highly recommended.

Many thanks for your very full and generous review and recommendation. Re parking, at the very busiest times it can be a bit of a problem everywhere in Keswick. It was never built for the motor car! But once here many people find they hardly need to use their car again with so much being so close at hand. And though conveniently close for walking, we are just far enough from the centre that day visitors and shoppers don't tend to use this area so it is very rare that there is any serious difficulty. And then next time you look, somebody has moved anyway!

“Great location, comfortable and warm”
Reviewed 3 April 2015 for a stay in March 2015

Nice little apartment within walking distance to shops and pubs etc. Well equipped and warm which was important as the weather was awful! I stayed for 5 nights and was glad to have a warm and cosy place to return to each day. A couple of suggestions - bath towels of a decent size would be appreciated and the mattress is probably approaching its use by date - with a big lump in the middle. The stable wifi was much appreciated as I had work to do while there.
