A third visit to this lovely B&B in Keswick. Marion and Peter are always friendly and welcoming, and happy to make time to chat to one. As always, the room was spotless, well appointed and comfortable. A pleasant, short stroll in to the central area of town where one is spoilt for choice of places to eat and drink, whatever your buget!
Thank you Marion and Peter, and I hope I will soon be back!

Chose this B&B on a last minuite decision to spend a weekend break to keswick and can say we chose very well,The owners Peter & Marion were both friendly and welcoming on our arrival.
The location is excellent being only a short walk from the centre of town and nearby lake.
The main thing for me however is that the accomodation (we were in room 3) is spacious but most importantly immaculately clean and little "treats" are left in your room for when you return.
Would highly recommend considering Goodwin House if are visiting Keswick.
Thank you.

Room Tip: Room 3 is the largest.

Appreciate your comments and so glad you enjoyed your stay.
I love little treats and so why shouldn't the guests after all you work hard to earn your "chill" time
Hope we will see you back with us again sometime

Just come back from 3 wonderful nights in keswick, left it late to book and goodwin house was last in a long list of b& bs we tried for availability they had 2 rooms left and thought something must be wrong as everywhere else was full but what a lovely surprise, Marion and peter were excellent hosts and thought of everything; loved the treats that were waiting for us in our rooms after a days walking and the sweets on the pillows, its little attention to detail like this that makes for a special visit. The breakfast were very good with plenty of veriety. Rooms are pleasant with small but adequate en suites, everything you need is provided with a big selection of hot drinks on the tea tray. No need to pack toiletries Marion and peter have saved you the hassel. parking was a problem but it was the busiest weekend ever and a short walk to the car is not a problem if you are there for a walking holiday :), Thank you for a lovely weekend.

I stayed two nights in this B&B as part of a painting weekend and i was made to feel welcome from the moment i made contact. It was easy to find and the room was comfortable, made more so by all the little extra touches, and well stocked tea tray. I had a packed lunch supplied by Marion, the owner, both days which did me for both dinner and tea and the cooked breakfasts in the morning were spot on. As it was the first time i had stayed in a B&B on my own i was a little aprehensive although i really enjoyed my stay due to the friendliness and comfortableness of this lovely B&B.

I stayed here with my boyfriend and we both enjoyed our stay. The double bed was extremely comfortable, the drying room was handy, the breakfast was delicious and the landlord/ lady were very accommodating. I loved the 'treats' left in our room for a personal touch which you don't get in large hotels. It was a few mins walk from the town center and just around the corner from a restaurant called "A Different Taste" which was delicious. I would recommend anyone travelling to The Lakes to stay here.

We managed to get booked up the weekend of the beer festival and considered that any old place would have done. However we were very lucky, as this B & B is a cosy little place with and excellent location. Just far enough outside of the main town, about 4 minutes walk to the centre. Very freindly and accomodating staff with a nice clean room and reasonable rates and a very nice breakfast. I would recommend this and would certainly stop there again. One issue (that most B & Bs suffer in this area) is that of parking. If you get there early, there's street parking and I advise once you've parked up, you stay parked up. Overall, very enjoyable stay.
